Niall Horan enters the Irish Album Chart at #1 with debut solo album Flicker
The former One Direction singer outsold nearest competitor, Pink, by 3 to 1.
The album has been certified GOLD in Ireland after just one week and is also the biggest album debut from any member of One Direction.
The new album features the hit singles ‘Slow Hands’ (certified triple platinum), ‘This Town’ (certified double platinum) and current single ‘Too Much To Ask’. He collaborated with producers Julian Bunetta, Jacquire King and Greg Kurstin to develop the distinctive sound he envisioned for the album.
Following performances on The Graham Norton Show, The Ellen Show and The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Niall continues his Flicker Sessions World Tour this weekend in Philadelphia. The tour, which kicked off in Dublin in August, has already hit, Europe, Australia, Japan, South American and the United States.
Having sold out his first 3Arena show on March 12th, Niall has announced a second Irish show on March 29th as part of his Flicker World Tour 2018. Tickets are on sale now. Rising international star Julia Michaels will join to support the European dates. Visit http://www.niallhoran.com for the itinerary and to purchase tickets.
