Niall Horan enjoys second week at top of Irish Charts
The former One Direction star continues to blaze a solo trail for himself, as newcomers also make their way up the charts.
Having already been certified Gold and having sold more than any other debut from a One Direction member, Niall Horan is unmoved at No. 1. The new album features hit singles ‘Slow Hands’ (certified triple platinum), ‘This Town’ (certified double platinum) and current single ‘Too Much To Ask’.
Elsewhere on the Charts, Pink remains at No. 2 with new album Beautiful Trauma, while Picture This climb from 4th to 3rd with their stunning debut album.
Several new releases have also found their way to the top 10. Gregory Porter's fantastic tribute albumNat King Cole And I sits at No. 5 (we interview the jazz singer in the next issue of Hot Press, out No 9), while The Martin Hayes Quartet's debut The Blue Room charts at No. 8 (Martin speaks to us in the latest Hot Press, out now).
There's also strong showings from Declan O'Rouke and Lankum, with their new albums Chronicles of the Great Famine and Between The Earth and Sky, reaching 17th and 18th respectively.
