NI Music Prize announces 2020 winners
Kitt Philippa was awarded Best Album for their 2019 debut Human.
The NI Music Prize announced its winners for 2020, in a virtual event streamed on YouTube last night, November 12.
Kitt Philippa was awarded Best Album for their acclaimed debut Human, while Best Live Act went to New Pagans, Best Single went to Arborist's 'Here Comes The Devil', and the Oh Yeah Contender Award went to Sasha Samara.
The Oh Yeah Legend Award, meanwhile, was awarded posthumously to Bap Kennedy – an acclaimed Belfast singer-songwriter who died in 2016.
For Best Album, Kitt Philippa took home a £3,000 prize. New Pagans, Arborist and Sasha Samara each were awarded £1,000.
The online ceremony featured performances Sasha Samara, Careerist, Kitt Philippa and more, as well as flashback footage of performances from last year's ceremony.
