New Pornographers announce Dublin show.
Canadian eight-piece The New Pornographers will play a Dublin date in November.
They'll be in Whelan's on the 17th, in support of their fourth studio album Challengers The first single from the new record Myriad Harbour will appear on two-track 7" and download formats only on October 1. The new album is said to feature a more organic sound, with a full string section, hard and flute all making an appearance.
The band have now been making music together for ten years, releasing the albums Mass Romantic in 2000, followed by Electric Version in 2003 and Twin Cinema in 2005.

Tickets for their Whelan's date are on sale now from Ticketmaster outlets, priced €19.45.
