New Pillow Queens single 'Holy Show' enters Official Irish Singles Chart Top 20
The gorgeous music video was directed by Kate Dolan, who previously teamed up with Pillow Queens on the excellent 'Gay Girls’.
Endlessly exciting Dublin band Pillow Queens recently released the music video for their latest single, 'Holy Show', and the track has since climbed its way up the Official Irish Singles Chart.
The beautiful song, which has visuals depicting a love story between two women, has entered the Top 20 this week at number 20.
'Holy Show' is one of five already-released tracks to appear on the album, featuring 'Handsome Wife', 'Brothers', 'Child of Prague', 'Liffey', 'Donaghmede' and 'HowDoILook'.
“Holy Show is a song that relays the feeling of regret and insecurity about past words spoken and actions taken, even when they’re ultimately meaningless" the band said.
"We wanted to create something that really captured the joyful intimacy between queer women through a female gaze," video director Kate Dolan commented.
Pillow Queens were among the groundbreaking female artists who banded together for Irish Women in Harmony to release the moving music video ‘Dreams’ – a cover of The Cranberries’ classic.
Proceeds from the track went to Safe Ireland to help domestic violence sufferers across Ireland.
