New Music from Ultan Conlon: ‘Don't Let Love Slip Away’
Don’t Let Love Slip Away is the second single from Ultan Conlon’s 4th Studio Album, There’s a Waltz.
The radio edit of the song was mixed by Colin Elliot (Richard Hawley, Jarvis Cocker) in Yellow Arch Studios, Sheffield.
Conlon’s new record, There’s a Waltz (out April 17) was produced by acclaimed bluegrass and Grammy winner Sean Watkins (Nicklecreek, the Watkins Family Hour) and was recorded in LA in just over two days to capture that timeless sound and classic album feel.
Ultan and Watkins recorded the album with some of the top session players in Los Angeles including Don Heffington - Drums, Sebastian Steinberg - Bass, Gabe Witcher - Fiddle, Rich Hinman - Pedal Steel. Sara Watkins -Backing Vocals and Tyler Chester - B3, Piano.
The album was mixed in Nashville by Collin Dupuis and mastered at RCA by John Baldwin.
His previous album Last Das Of The Night Owl already set the bar with a standard soft-rock backing underpinning Conlon’s winning vocal delivery. Read our review here.
