The 1975 are set to premiere their new single ‘Give Yourself a Try’ at 7pm tonight on BBC Radio 1.
The band have been hinting at a new release for the last month via cryptic social media posts. Stock photos have been accompanied by messages such as “I think I’m getting better”, “Planned obsolescence” and “Soon to be picturesque ruins”.
The heading on every post has remained the same.
“The 1975. A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships”.

The band are yet to confirm whether or not it is the name of an upcoming album.
I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It was the last album to be released by the Manchester group in 2016.
