New music book to feature the cream of Irish talent
From The Cradle To The Stage is choc-a-bloc full of interviews with Christy Moore, Damien Rice, David Holmes and David Kitt, among others
Ireland's musical greats get to talk about their favourite subject…themselves! in From The Cradle To The Stage, a new Poolbeg book which benefits the Fighting Blindness charity.
Compiled by RTE man Alan Swan, the 315-page tome contains candid interviews with the likes of Bellefire, Cara Dillon, Christy Moore, Damien Rice, David Holmes, David Kitt, Neil Hannon and Tim Wheeler.
As well as revealing how they got hooked on this rock 'n' roll malarkey, they also get to nominate their favourite song of all time. We don't want to give too much away, but Mundy's is touchingly 'Skylarkin'' by Mic Cristopher.
A good idea, well executed and for a great cause.
