New Dublin Voices announce European tour and Dublin show
The choir released their fifth album Snow Dance for the Dead – Choral Music by Seán Doherty in 2025.
New Dublin Voices have announced they will be representing Ireland's EU presidency with a European tour. The chamber choir is conducted by Bernie Sherlock and was founded in 2005.
The group will be performing in All Hallows Chapel in Dublin City University, on October 18. The tour will begin on October 27 in Warsaw, Poland. The following dates are Riga, Latvia on October 29, Kaunas, Lithuania on October 30, and Vilnius on October 31.

Along with their concerts, the choir will attending assembly engagements in the cities. The tour is part of Cultúr 2026, the culture programme of Ireland's EU presidency, it is supported by Culture Ireland.
The group will perform Seán Doherty’s James Joyce setting ‘I Hear an Army’ for the first time, alongside his motet ‘Peperit Virgo’. They will also showcase works by Cecelia McDowall, Nana Forte, Emil Råberg, Max Reger, Daniel Knaggs, and Torbjørn Dyrud.
New Dublin Voices have held concerts at several festivals, including the 13th City of Derry International Choir Festival (Northern Ireland, 2025), the 7th Internationale Chorbiennale Aachen (Germany, 2023), and the 2nd World Choral Festival, Kansas City, America, 2016.
The choir has won several international awards in choral competitions, and are known for performing pieces by Irish composers. Their fifth album, Snow Dance for the Dead – Choral Music by Seán Doherty, was released in 2025. The record is their third consecutive album that features music by Irish composers.
