Netflix Outstrips HBO in Emmy Nominations

With an impressive 112 nominations, Netflix is leading the Emmy's with the highest recognition this year.

The streaming service celebrated the achievement via their Twitter page, sending congratulations to all of their nominees.

HBO, despite losing its streak of earning the most Emmy nominations each year, still boasts 108 nods.

The news demonstrates the increasing shift in viewing habits in fans of TV who opt to watch their shows on demand and in binge sessions.

This years Emmy's will mark the ceremony's 70th anniversary and is scheduled to be on September 17.
