Nathan Carter storms to top of Irish album chart
Ellie Goulding takes a tumble...
Donegal native Nathan Carter will be in celebratory mood this weekend as new album The Wagon Wheel Show - Live hits the summit of the Irish Albums Chart at the first time of asking.
Carter's #1 effort means that recent HP cover star Ellie Goulding drops down to second with Halcyon/Halcyon Days while Pharrell, fresh from dancing with the stars at the Oscars, makes his chart debut with G I R L.
Meanwhile, Kodaline, having missed out on this year's Choice Music Prize, drop down one place this week with In A Perfect World taking fourth spot as Beyoncé's self-titled record sticks at #5.
Damien Dempsey, One Direction, Arctic Monkeys, Emeli Sandé and Beck round out the top 10. For the full chart rundown, click here.
