My Bloody Valentine back in the studio
Kevin Shields and co re-record five songs for a new box set
The shock news from Berlin is that My Bloody Valentine are re-recording five songs for a box-set that's due out in November.
According to our studio spies, the tracks layed down by Kevin Shields, Colm O'Ciosiog and Belinda Butcher were originally mooted for 1989's Glider, but were abandoned when the proposed 9-track album morphed into a four-track EP.
As revealed in the current issue of Hot Press, Shields has also contributed four new tunes to the Lost In Translation OST which is released in the States on September 9.
