Morrissey Dublin bound.
Morrissey is set to play Dublin Castle on the June 5th.
Morrissey's official website mailing-list is confirming that the Mancunian is paying a June bank holiday weekend visit to the courtyard.
Prior to that comes the May release of his first album in seven years, You Are The Quarry, and it's interestingly titled lead single, 'Irish Blood, English Heart'.
Mozzer has also announced – and instantly sold-out! – a homecoming Manchester Evening News Arena show on May 22 which features support from Franz Ferdinand and our very own Damien Dempsey.
Meanwhile Morrissey's keeping himself very busy curating the Meltdown festival on London's Southbank June 11-27. Previous Meltdown Directors include David Bowie (2002), Robert Wyatt (2001), Nick Cave (1999), John Peel (1998) and Laurie Anderson (1997). The full line-up for Morrissey's Meltdown will be announced soon - hopefully (going by Moz's support slots over recent times) we may see The Thrills, Damien Dempsey, Sack and Pony Club featuring!
