Miley Cyrus storms to top of Irish Album Chart
Who says controversy doesn't pay off?
Following a lengthy back and forth (is it even over?) with Sinéad O'Connor, Miley Cyrus has seemingly not alienated her Irish fan base as new album Bangerz goes straight in at the top of the mountain.
Arctic Monkeys continue to hold firm in second spot with AM while Kings of Leon (more on them in the next issue of Hot Press) fall from #1 to #3 with comeback record Mechanical Bull.
Elsewhere, it's a familiar look for the top five with Kodaline's In A Perfect World up one place to #4 while One Direction also climb up to fifth position with Up All Night.
Nathan Carter jumps an impressive thirty-four spots to #6 with Wagon Wheel while Haim, Bruno Mars, One Direction and The Strypes complete the top ten. View the complete chart here.
