Meredith Monk to play National Concert Hall Next Year
Foggy Notions have announced that composer and vocalist Meredith Monk is billed to play a live performance at the National Concert Hall in February of Next Year
American composer, performer, director, vocalist, filmmaker, and choreographer Meredith Monk is set to play a date at the National Concert Hall Tuesday 13th February 2024.
The show will be Monk's first performance in Ireland.
Recognised as a unique and influential artist, composer/performer Meredith Monk offers one of her rare, more intimate concerts with renowned members of her vocal Ensemble, Katie Geissinger and Allison Sniffin.
Monk has been hailed as “a magician of the voice” and “one of America’s coolest composers”. The National Concert Hall date is set to reflect Monk’s six decades of innovation and awe-inspiring vocal mastery, mining the depths of the myriad possibilities of the human voice.
The gig will feature Meredith Monk's vocals and keyboard playing, vocals from Katie Geissinger and Allison Sniffin, performing vocals, violin and keyboard
