Marvin Gaye to be immortalized on screen in Noah Media Group and Greenlight co-venture.
Fans of this soul master, will be delighted to hear through the grapevine that Gaye is going to get the artistic treatment he deserves.
The documentary feature film will centre on Gaye's determination to make an album that would transform popular culture as well as the music industry. This album was of course his superb What's Going On.
Following his meteoric rise from the mean streets of Washington D.C. to becoming the Prince of Soul, the film will feature exclusive interviews with Motown's biggest stars and never before seen archival footage provided by Gaye's family.
It is the first time Gaye's family have supported and contributed to such a project.
With racial tensions rife, Gaye's What's Going On has never been more relevant and it can once again tackle a world divided by race and threatened by war.
Noah Media Group are skilled in depicting historical moments honestly through interesting characters, and this documentary feature will be no exception.
