Mark Ronson and Dua Lipa To Collaborate on New Music
This is a dream come true!
Pop mastermind Mark Ronson is teaming up with hit maker Dua Lipa for a new song called 'Electricity'. Producer Diplo is also tied into the project.
In an interview with The Times, Ronson said how the song will show off Lipa's vocal chopes, describing it as a "belter".
“Spiritual piano house music like they used to make. Lipa sounds imperious and has this deep, soulful voice that harkens back to gospel house.”
Lipa also teased the announcement, revealing the news on her Twitter. The 'New Rules' singer referred to the song using female pronouns - perhaps a sign that it will be a feminist anthem?

Diplo commented on the musicial differences between him and Ronson, insisting that their contrasts of sound is what makes will set the single apart.
"Even though the style of music we do is quite different, there’s so much shared stuff that we do love – like classic house, disco and hip-hop".
