Marcus Woods to play Whelan's headline
Listen to his 'Global Warming' EP below.
Marcus Woods – aka Ryan Cullen – is a 19 year old producer from Dublin. At his young age, he's already co-founded a record label called Burner Records (alongside Local Boy, who was one of our Hot For 2020 artists). It was announced today that Woods will play Upstairs at Whelan's on Saturday, 25th April.
Woods tries to find a middle ground between ambient, lush sounds and hard-hitting drum patterns, fusing multiple textures into his electronica. He released his collaborative EP with Rebel Phoenix, titled Global Warming in 2019 and has been building the live A/V show which he will debut in April.
Tickets for the Whelan's show will go on sale this Friday at 10am.
