While unwilling to go into specifics, a Madge spokeswoman has confirmed that there will be an extensive European tour.
“She’s really excited about doing it,” she says. “We’ll know the full details shortly.”
Talking this week to Interview magazine, the Queen of Pop revealed: “I’m finally going to drag my ass into a rehearsal studio. I never want to repeat myself. I don’t see the point of doing a show unless you offer something that is going to mind-boggle the senses. It’s not enough to get on stage and sing a song. It’s all about theatre and drama and surprise and suspense. So I’m looking forward to it but I’m also nervous about it.”
The 41-year-old singer had originally been in the frame for Slane 2000, but pulled out after becoming pregnant. Amazingly enough, if she does make it across, it’ll be her first Irish show.
