Lucy Dacus joins Hozier for ‘I, Carrion (Icarian)’ in New York
“Beautiful song beautiful voice beautiful night,” Dacus writes on social media.
Hozier’s Unreal Unearth Tour has officially kicked into high gear, bringing his latest album to life as he sells out stadiums across the US. On Friday, during his third New York headline, the Irish star was joined on stage by singer-songwriter and Boygenius member Lucy Dacus for an “unearthly” rendition of ‘I, Carrion (Icarian)’.
Nearly 10 months after his surprise appearance at Boygenius’ Boston headline last September - joining the Lucy Dacus, Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker supergroup for their cult-classic ‘Salt in the Wound’ - Hozier has returned the favour, inviting the ‘Night Shift' singer to the Forest Hills stage for a duet we didn't know we needed.

“Thank you so much to the incredibly gifted Lucy Dacus for joining me,” Hozier wrote in a Instagram post about the night, which features a video of the duet. “I adore and admire your work so much, and am so honoured you would join me last night for ‘I, Carrion’. So much love!”
