LISTEN: New psych-pop band Neighbourly release debut single - 'Wake Up'
The group formally known as SPEAK EASY has just dropped 'Wake Up'.
A brand new band hailing from Vancouver called Neighbourly has just released their first two singles.
Originally called SPEAK EASY, the psych-pop group decided during the pandemic that a new name was in order for their new music, in the form of 'Wake Up'.
Neighbourly is made up of Oliver Sandberg on guitar and vocals, Scott Sparrow handling percussion duty and Lauren Giorgio providing bass and vocals.
On the track, the band says that it "induces a feeling of optimism near to watching the sun rise and includes soft, comforting vocals combined with a jaunty guitar melody reminiscent of indie-folk favourite Bahamas."
Although not released yet, the trio has another single dubbed 'Whoopsies' coming soon as well.
