LISTEN: Father John Misty unveils name of new album and shares title track

Pure Comedy, the title of the new album, will be released April 7 in Ireland, the UK & Europe through Bella Union.

Tillman wrote the majority of Pure Comedy throughout 2015 and recorded all the basic tracking and vocals live to tape at United Studios (formerly the legendary Ocean Way Studios, a place favoured by Frank Sinatra and The Beach Boys) in Los Angeles March 2016.

Father John Misty has shared the album's title track and a 30 minute film, both of which can be viewed below.
