LISTEN: EDX Drops New Single
EDX continues to celebrate 25-Year milestone with new single 'Daybreak'.
It's the second single EDX has dropped so far to celebrate his quarter century milestone: ‘Daybreak’.
‘Daybreak’ clearly references traits of the early European house that surrounded EDX back in the late nineties. Suspended synths, dreamy vocal samples and warm, rhythmic piano chords and arpeggios combine with lush electronic elements, creating a joyful cut that begs the dance floor to move in celebration.
Globally renowned for his ability to produce melodic house cuts, the highest-grossing Swiss artist on Spotify shows no signs of slowing down. If anything, EDX is upping the ante as he moves through 2017.
High profile performances this summer have included sets at Tomorrowland, Sziget Festival, Euforia Festival, Airbeat One, Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, and Vegas institutions such as XS, Encore Beach Club and Intrigue.
With latest single ‘Bloom’ taking the top spot on the hotly contested Beatport Future House chart and summer smash ‘Feel The Rush’ clocking up over 3.5 million streams on Spotify alone, the 2015 #1 producer on Beatport continues to boast a strong influence on the electronic music scene he has been a part of for over two decades.
