LISTEN: Dixie Chicks share new song 'Julianna Calm Down'
GASLIGHTER will be the group's first album in nearly 15 years.
The Dixie Chicks have released the second single from their upcoming record GASLIGHTER. The song, called 'Julianna Calm Down', comes instead of the album, which was initially slated for a May 1st release.
“We can’t give you the full album just yet, but we also couldn’t let May 1 pass by without sharing a new song with you,” the band said via press release. “So, here is track number nine ‘Julianna Calm Down’ off ‘GASLIGHTER’. We hope it makes you feel empowered, smile, and strut the f*** around like you’ve got nothing to lose. We will strut through this time together.”
Although the album has been postponed for unspecified reasons, other artists like HAIM and Kehlani have also postponed their albums indefinitely due to the Coronavirus crisis.
