LISTEN: David O'Doherty releases Live In His Own Car During A Pandemic album
He was rocking and rolling on Sunday night on Achill Island!
With stand-up still on ‘hold’, the 1990 East Leinster under-14s triple jump bronze medalist, David O’Doherty, has found an alternative venue to record his latest live album – his motor vehicle.
David O’Doherty: Live In His Own Car During A Pandemic was “recorded on my phone in my car, during a storm on Achill Island at midnight on the 28th of June, 2020. It is dedicated to my parents, Ann and Jim, with whom I Have been isolating for the past three months.”
You can bag a copy now from his Bandcamp for a mere fiver. Listen carefully and you'll hear the roar of the wind and the sea but sadly not the crowds who normally pack out David's gigs. Hopefully that'll change very soon...
I miss doing shows. So I recorded a new album in my car on Sunday night. It's called Live in his own Car During a Pandemic and it's available for a fiver here: https://t.co/DIgbXRQJqK pic.twitter.com/2k499SmuaB
