Listen: David Crosby's new release 'Sell Me A Diamond'
Former quarter of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young David Crosby has released a jazzy new track from his forthcoming Sky Trails LP.
The lyrically masterful track takes the issue of blood-diamond mining and elevates it to Crosby's observations of the human condition.
The track begins with a simple beat and keys, played by Crosby's son James Raymond who also produced the new record. With the addition of Greg Leisz's swooping steel guitar riffs it pedals forward into Crosby crooning the refrain "makes conflict-free/sound good to me."
