Lisburn to host Music Revolution festival
Iain Archer, Republic of Loose and Alabama 3 are among the artists performing in Lisburn this August
All roads lead to Lisburn in August as the town’s Island Arts Centre plays host to Music Revolution ’05.
A cracking series of gigs, the live action stacks up as follows:
Saturday 13 – Music Quest Reloaded Final
Wednesday 17 – Glen Hansard & Iain Archer
Thursday 18 – Idlewild
Friday 19 – Alabama 3 & Republic Of Loose
Saturday 20 – NIMIC (Northern Ireland Music Industry Commission) seminar followed by Red Organ Serpent Sound, Clone Quartet and Oppenheimer

Talking of young Mr. Archer, the 2005 Ivor Novello Award-winner has his wondrous Flood The Tanks album re-released on July 8.
Along with new artwork, Iain has re-recorded ‘Summer Jets’ and ‘Boy Boy Boy’ with legendary U2 and New Order producer Steve Osbourne and re-sequenced the tracks.
