Lewis Capaldi has released the official live video for ‘The Day That I Die’.
Introduced by Capaldi onstage as being written during a period when he “didn’t think [he] would be here anymore,” the track is one of four songs on his new EP Survive, alongside ‘Something In The Heavens’, ‘Almost’, and ‘Survive’.
Capaldi returned to touring this year after nearly two years away, completing a UK arena run, which included two sold-out nights at Dublin’s 3Arena.
He also announced large-scale outdoor headline shows for summer 2026, including two dates at Dublin’s Marlay Park on June 23 and 24, Limerick’s Thomond Park on June 26, and two shows at London’s BST Hyde Park on July 11 and 12.
Capaldi’s single ‘Survive’ debuted at No.1 in the UK, becoming the country’s fastest-selling single of 2025. He has achieved six UK No.1 singles and ten UK Top 10 singles to date. His previous album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, was his second No.1 album in Ireland and the UK.
In 2023, Capaldi released a Netflix documentary where he discussed his experience with anxiety, Tourette's, and the making of his second album. The documentary, Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now received a GRAMMY nomination and reached No.1 on Netflix’s global chart upon release.
Tickets for Lewis Capaldi’s Irish dates are available here.
