The Dublin lads launched their debut LP today in style on a boat in Dublin's Liffey river…
They've had a colossal year playing gigs and radio stations everywhere from Temple Bar to Canada. The Swords natives have finally launched their debut record In A Perfect World, choosing to do so in style on a beautiful day on Dublin's Liffey.
The lads treated the crowd to a cracking cover of Sam Cooke's classic 'Bring It All Home To Me'. Despite being heckled by none other than their own parents at the start of the set, Kodaline then went on to blast out a few of their hits from the record. Assisted by a crowd choir, the four-piece finished up with the single that started the ball rolling, 'All I Want'.
Their album is currently challenging Kanye's Yeesus record for the top spot in the UK, and should take the number one spot here at the weekend (fingers crossed).

Hot Press caught up with the band on the 'Kodaliner' (we know, very clever indeed) and talked cynics, festivals and album news. You can see our interview and more coverage from the bands performance a little later on here at hotpress.com.
