Kodaline have beaten Kanye West to the top spot in the Irish album chart. The Dublin band's debut In A Perfect World shoots straight to the top spot, followed at No. 2 by Bruce Springsteen's Collection: 1973 - 2012.

French dance duo Daft Punk are at No. 3 with Random Access Memories, while US rapper du jour Kanye West enters the chart at No. 4 with latest offering, Yeezus. Queens Of The Stone Age - interviewed in our new issue - complete the top five with ...Like Clockwork.

There are new entries from Sigur Rós - also interviewed in our new mag! - with Kveikur at No. 6, and Meat Loaf & Bonnie Tyler (yes, you read that right) with Heaven & Hell at No. 32. Waterford act O Emperor also take their chart bow with latest album, Vitreous, which is this week's No. 38.
