Kodaline for Eurosonic
The Dubliners will join Little Green Cars at the event next year...
More new acts have been confirmed for Eurosonic 2013 in the Netherlands. Our very own Little Green Cars were among the artists previously announced, and now, another Irish act - Kodaline will join them!
The Swords fourpiece - interviewed in next week's issue of HP - have enjoyed a very swift rise to stardom, thanks in part to their track 'All I Want' featuring in US hospital drama Grey's Anatomy. "It's really strange because it's such early days for us," guitar and vox men Stephen Garrigan tells us. "We've only done one EP, we haven't really released much. We're just really happy that people are actually listening to us."
Other recently announced names for Eurosonic include Trixie Whitley (BE), Rangleklods (DK, Hamfero (FO), C2C (FR), Monophona (LU), Bombay Show Pig (NL), and Thomas Azier (NL).
The event will welcome over 290 artists from around Europe for the 27th annual event and over 33,000 visitors are expected to attend.
