Kneecap release new single 'No Comment' feat. Sub Focus
The group are currently on their sold-out UK tour.
Kneecap have released their new single 'No Comment' featuring Sub Focus.
The single addresses Mo Chara's recent terror charges brought forth by the British state after he was seen allegedly displaying a Hezbollah flag during a London concert. The charges were dismissed in late September.
The release follows the band's most recent standalone singles 'THE RECAP' featuring Mozey and 'Sayonara', a collaboration with Paul Hartnoll of Orbital.
"No comment is all about getting harassed by the British State. Simple as," said the Belfast hip-hop trio. "Us Irish are well used to it, been happening for centuries. Was a pleasure to work with Sub Focus on this, the man is a legend."
The single's cover art features street artist Banksy's 'Royal Courts Of Justice', a mural painted on the exterior wall of the Royal Courts of Justice in London and later covered up. The painting features a judge violently attacking a protestor, leading to an outpour of public discussion and controversy.
Kneecap are set to perform in Ireland in December, with shows in Killarney on December 12 and 13, and two sold-out gigs in Dublin on December 16 and 17. You can find tickets here.
