Kiruu to play the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions tonight

Tonight on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions, we're bringing you a performance from acclaimed Irish/English singer and multi-instrumentalist Kiruu – streaming live on the Hot Press Instagram at 7.30pm.

Kiruu's unique sound has been largely shaped by his background – including his East African upbringing, and several years spent on the Mediterranean coast of Spain. A classically trained pianist, he took up the guitar, and began writing and performing songs in his teenage years – playing with and forming bands and musical projects in Ireland, the UK, Spain, Tanzania, Argentina, and France.

In September, Kiruu released Super Feo Express – launching the album with a headliner at Lost Lane, Dublin.

Throughout the Lockdown Sessions, our star-studded line-up will be taking over the Hot Press Instagram account (@hotpressmagazine), and live-streaming performances from their homes around the world directly to your phone.
