Kingfishr react as 'Killeagh' revealed as Ireland's most-listened to song on Spotify
The band was included in Spotify UK’s cinematic video celebrating the most streamed artists of the year.
Kingfishr’s track ‘Killeagh’ has been revealed as Ireland's most-listened to song on Spotify, after the tune went viral over the summer.
Reacting to the news on Instagram, the band wrote: “Absolutely insane. Thank you to everyone who has listened, you’ve changed our lives."
They also shared an extract of their apparition in Spotify UK’s video celebrating the most streamed artists of the UK and Ireland, featuring Central Cee, JADE, Lola Young, PinkPantheress and more.

The top artist in Ireland this year was Taylor Swift, who took the crown for the third year in a row. Next up is Zach Bryan, followed by Kingfishr, Sabrina Carpenter, and Drake.
Amble's debut LP Reverie also took a high spot, coming ahead of Stick Season by Noah Kahan and Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet.
The 2 Johnnies Podcast was crowned most-streamed podcast in the country.
