Kid Cudi is back with new track: ‘Leader of the Delinquents’
Kid Cudi returns with 'Leader of the Delinquents', from his forthcoming seventh studio album Entergalactic.
'Leader of the Delinquents' marks Cudi’s first solo music since 2016’s 'Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ which topped at No. 11 on the Billboard 200.
The new song has a heavy vibe to it, with the Cleveland rapper rhyming on today’s world, drugs and mental health. He opens with: “Hello friends, Cudder again/ Gotta smack 'em with some shit before the world ends/ Same old denims, worn for days/ I been home makin' jams and many wonderful waves.”
After teasing the track on Instagram last week during a Live session that featured an appearance from Jaden Smith, the single finally hit streaming services.
Cudi teased his new album Entergalactic last year, and announced he would executive produce, star, write and soundtrack an animated Netflix series based on the LP.
There's no word on a release date for the album yet.
