Katy Perry establishes record label

Katy Perry is now the proud owner of a record label. The pop singer launched Metamorphosis Music yesterday, along with the label's first signing. While Perry has given little direction on what she intends to accomplish with the label, she did describe first signee Ferras as "incredibly talented & soulful" in a tweet announcing the label's establishment.

The label will be operated as a joint venture with Perry's owners, Capitol Records. Ferras will be joining Perry on the North American leg of her world tour. Check out a collaboration between the two below.
