Kate Tempest shares the first single from her new album, The Book Of Traps And Lessons
The English spoken word artist's upcoming album is set to be released on June 14.
Kate Tempest has announced a new album, The Book Of Traps and Lessons. Set to be released on June 14 via American Recordings/Republic Recordings, the album follows 2017's Mercury-nominated Let Them Eat Chaos. In the review of that stellar album, Hot Press described Kate as "an extraordinary talent and a fresh and insightful voice."
The Book Of Traps and Lessons will see the spoken word artist working with regular collaborator Dan Carey, as well as legendary producer Rick Rubin.
Kate has coincided the album announcement with the release of The Book Of Traps and Lessons's lead single, 'Firesmoke'. Listen below:

She has also taken to Twitter to announce that she will be performing the album at a show at the Broadway Theatre in Catford.
