Justin Bieber knocks Adele from atop the album charts
Down goes Adkins! Down goes Adkins!
They said it could't be done, but Justin Bieber has relegated Adele from the top of the Irish album charts.
The Canadian has seen Purpose bag the top spot on its eighth week in the charts, knocking 25 to No. 2. Ms Adkins had reigned supreme since the release of her third EP, but couldn't outsell the pop juggernaut over the past seven days.
Thankfully, the rest of the chart shows that order is relatively undisturbed, with Ed Sheeran remaining in third spot, while One Direction and Elvis Presley stay at No. 4 and No. 6 respectively - split by Nathan Carter, who climbs two spots with Beautiful Life At Christmas.
