Juno Falls to release free download single
Juno Falls have dropped their ‘Atom Bomb’ single, available free for download from now until July 28.
The latest offering from singer-songwriter Myles O’Reilly and friends is taken from their album Weightless, and can be found on downloadmusic.ie.
Also in the offing is a string of dates ranging from Dingle to Italy and back home. With more still to be announced, they play:
MaCarthy’s, Dingle (July 25); CXSW Festival, Skibbereen (July 26); Julive Festival, Bologne (July 29); Marina di Ravenna, Bologne (July 30); Feile Beo Festival, Dingle (August 23); Electric Avenue, Waterford (August 29); The Belltable Theatre, Limerick (September 4); The Backroom Sessions, Navan (September 19); Sea Sessions Surfer Festival, Sligo (September 20).
O’Reilly recently moved to the south-west coast looking for the “remoteness and honesty” necessary to make the album. A major car crash nearly brought an end to the plans – “some of what I had been writing about prior to the crash now seemed trivial to me”, he says. “I had been given a second chance”.
