Jove get networking in all the right places
Recently returned from an impressive industry showcase in London, Dublin band Jove have announced a hometown headliner at the Olympia Theatre
Jove's recent London showcase proved to be a huge success with Sony UK & Europe, Universal UK & Germany, Fierce Panda, Parlophone and EMI all giving the Dublin band the once-over.
Also there to check them out were Manic Street Preachers and Radiohead producers Dave Eringa and Nigel Godrich - good company for any new outfit to be keeping!
Jove have already inked a publishing deal with B612 in Germany and are hoping to tour there with Reamonn, the stadium-sized outfit fronted by Kerryman Rea Garvey.
Back home, tickets have just been put on sale for Jove's March 19 show in the Olympia. Completing the bill are electronica merchants Liquid Wheel, 66E who release their debut album in January, and HP favourites Alphastates.
More immediately, the band play the Temple Bar Music Centre on December 14 as part of a fundraiser for James Goulden, the well-known freelance photographer who had his gear stolen recently, and travel to Galway on December 30 for a show in the Roisin Dubh.
