Jools Holland And R&B Orchestra For 3Arena In October
The pianist will bring along guest vocalists for the arena gig.
Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra have announced a date for Dublin's 3Arena next year. It will be Holland's first concert here since his performance the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in 2015.
They will play Dublin's 3Arena on October 14 2017. His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra will be joined by vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall as well as Gilson Lavis on drums. Holland and Lavis first collaborated in the late 1980's when they formed the Jools Holland Big Band.
Holland's most recent album with the orchestra was 2014's Sirens of Song. This album featured multiple collaborations with female musician's including Imedla May, Kylie Minogue and Emile Sandé.
Tickets for the gig will go on sale June 24 priced at €54.
