John Shelly & The Creatures plot Irish tour
It's in support of their Dinosaur album.
Northern contenders John Shelly & The Creatures clock up some serious mileage as they visit the King Kong Club, Dublin (February 8); Spirit Store, Dundalk (11); Backroom, Navan (12); Whelan’s, Dublin (13); Cuba, Galway (14); The Old Oak, Cork (15); Sandino’s, Derry (20); Dolan’s, Limerick (25); The Sky & The Ground, Wexford (26); Dew Drop Inn, Kill (27); Auntie Annie’s, Belfast (March 4); Top Of The Town, Omagh (5); The Stables, Mullingar (6); and An Grianan, Letterkenny (19).
As well as soundtracking the Discover Northern Ireland Explore More TV ad campaign with ‘Long May You Reign’, the Belfast outfit have their debut album, Dinosaur, primed for early March release.
It’s am ambitious affair with trumpet, flugelhorn and a string quartet all in the musical mix.
