Jester up for singles hat-trick
Tipperary five-piece Jester are to follow up the chart success of their last two singles with a new single ‘Faces’ to be released on March 26.
Last August the band set the charts alight when their second single ‘Scream’ shot to number 18 in the IRMA Irish Singles chart, the only independent act to breach the top 40 around that time. The single also claimed the number 1 spot in the downloadmusic chart. Their debut single ‘Maria’ had previously topped the downloadmusic chart for two weeks and also charted in the IMRA Top 40.
Another triumph for Jester was storming to victory at the prestigious Sea Sessions Irish Unsigned Act Competition last June, beating over 500 other entrants. They are currently recording their debut album due for release later this year.
