Jerry Fish fronts this year's Movember Campaign
It's all for the Irish Cancer Society's Action Prostate Cancer initiative.
The public face – literally! – of this year’s Irish Movember Campaign is Jerry Fish whose fine handlebar jobbie should be an inspiration to us all.
The deal is for people to start November clean shaven, then grow and sport as cheeky a ‘tache as possible in order to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society’s Action Prostate Cancer initiative. Last year 15,500 Irish soup strainers were sprouted, which swelled the APC coffers by a cool €1.7 million. Globally there were 854,000 Mo Bros and Sistas who between them brought in €92.4m.
“I’m delighted to be involved,” Fish enthuses. “It’s really important to be aware of men’s health and we will donate €3 from ticket sales to Movember for any man, woman or child that shows up to our Dublin show in The Workman’s on November 7 with a Mo.” So, one Mo time with feeling…
