Jerry Fish announces Kickstarter campaign to help complete upcoming album
Funds raised via the Kickstarter will cover the costs of mixing, mastering, and manufacturing the album.
Jerry Fish has launched a Kickstarter Campaign to help complete his upcoming album Dreaming of Daniel.
Made alongside Fight Light Apes frontwoman MayKay, the project features songs by the late Daniel Johnston , a core artistic inspiration for Jerry Fish who passed away in 2019.
The album is co-produced by Fish and pianist/composer Cian Boylan at Camden Recording Studios, Dublin, and features a lineup of special guests.
The recording of the LP’s 13 tracks is complete. Additionally, the artwork has been created by Ricardo Cavalo, known for his graphic novel about Daniel Johnston’s life.
Funds raised via the Kickstarter will cover the costs of mixing, mastering, and manufacturing the album.

Backers of the campaign will receive a limited edition vinyl run of the album, including a digital download with a bonus track, available to backers before the worldwide release. Other rewards include access to a VIP Secret Show in Dublin, and various exclusive goodies.
“In an era where streaming services dominate music consumption, the financial challenges for artists have intensified,” read a statement from Jerry Fish. “Quality production and recording remain costly and streaming services provide minimal compensation to artists. “
