JC Stewart returns with video for 'I Need You To Hate Me'

JC Stewart is continuing his rise to international acclaim with the release of his new video 'I Need You To Hate Me.' The song tackles a different aspect of the same break-up as his previous single 'Have You Had Enough Wine,' through the same direct and universally applicable language.

Emilia Jones stars with Stewart himself in the video. Directed by Charlie Sarsfield – who has previously worked with Dermot Kennedy and Stormzy – it's a cinematic take on the indie pop track.

Of the video, Stewart says: "Honestly, when I asked if we could set a car on fire outside an old country house I was half-joking. But here we are. I’m so proud of this video and it represents everything I want this song to be. Epic, emotional, ambitious. It was amazing to have Emilia Jones involved as well. She’s an UNBELIEVABLE actress so it was honour that she said yes! Hope you enjoy!”
