Janelle Monáe announces Iveagh Gardens headline show
Tickets go on sale this Friday
After an exciting 2022 for Janelle Monáe, with her role in Rian Johnson’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, the artist will perform at the Iveagh Gardens on July 6. The performance will feature the icon’s impressive catalogue of music that fuses hip hop, soul, new wave and funk.
Grammy nominated Monáe's discography includes her debut album The Archandroid (2010), The Electric Lady (2013) and the more recent Dirty Computer (2018) – which features the hit singles 'Make Me Feel' and 'I Like That'.
These critically acclaimed albums will allow for a lot of variety for the singer, actor, artist and musician's July performance.
'Float' is a recent song released by the artist in collaboration with Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 is an upbeat anthem that is in consideration for song of the summer.
Monáe’s previous performances have been exciting and euphoric, with the July concert promising to continue this energy.
Tickets for the performance go on sale this Friday at 10am and can be purchased here.
