James Vincent McMorrow gives €20,000 to Headstrong
Huge boost for mental health centre...
James Vincent McMorrow has presented Headstrong, Ireland’s National Centre for Youth Mental Health with a cheque for €20,000.
Those are the royalties accruing so far from Silver Lining, the Sound Training Centre-assembled covers album, which includes James’ take on Stevie Winwood’s ‘Higher Love’.
The track was also the vinyl B-side to his recent ‘We Don’t Eat’ single. The tally included all the monies paid to him so far by Amazon.

Also featuring the likes of Bressie, The Corrs, Bell X1, Republic Of Loose, Lisa Hannigan and Damien Dempsey, Silver Lining can be ordered from iTunes for just €8.99.
