Irish label releases World Cup compilation

Dublin’s ace Indiecater Records label has put together a 32-track World Cup companion album, which features specially commissioned homilies to all of the countries bound for South Africa this summer.
Featured acts on Fast Forward include Cop On The Edge, Standard Fare, Showstar, The Dirty 9s, Grand Pocket Orchestra, At Last An Atlas, Pearse McGloughlin, Detox Cute, Echo Orbiter, Boca Chica, Lightholler, Betty & The Cavalero, Sleep Good, Hunter-Gatherer, The Invisible Clock Factory, Burning Codes, Cleemann, Goatboy, Spirit Spine, Le Man Avec Les Lunettes, Harry Bird, Adam & Darcie, Escape Act, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Francis Bacon’s Ghost, Storkboy Choons, Tap Tap, The Yellow Melodies, Candy Claws, My Brother Woody and Manwomanchild whose France-referencing ditty is pointedly called ‘Irlande’.
