Irish Dance Music Award winners announced

The Irish Dance Music Awards were held on Sunday night in the Academy. The results were decided by a public vote on the website of the event organisers Slick DJ Magazine, and winners included Electric Picnic, the Pod complex and Irish dance collective Bodytonic [pictured].

The final results were as follows:

Best Small Club Night / Promoter: Re:Publik
Best Live Act: Japanese Popstars
Best New Artist: Timmy & Tommy
Best Producer: John O'Callaghan
Best DJ: John O'Callaghan
Best Radio Show: John Gibbons
Best Label: D1 Records
Best Resident: Tony Watters
Best One Off Event: Electric Picnic
Best Single: Chymera – 'Wish'
Best Album: Corrugated Tunnel –We Are Electronix
